The public can get a close look at the hat and gloves worn by John F. Kennedy during his inauguration.John F. Kennedy did not like top hats, but 50 years ago next month he donned one of beaver fur for his inauguration as the country’s 35th president.That elegant hat and a set of brown suede gloves, on public display for the first time, are included in an exhibit that opened yesterday at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum to commemorate the inauguration’s golden anniversary on Jan. 20.
